The healing hands of Michele, founder and owner of Healing Haven at the Lamberton Conservatory, Rochester New York.

A visit to Sedona, Arizona in 1996 sparked a strong passion in the healing arts for Michele. Soon after, in 1998, she made the decision to dedicate herself to sharing the benefits of massage and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since March, 2000.

Michele was introduced to CranioSacral Therapy at the Finger Lakes School of Massage and has been studying the therapy since 2000. She has advanced training through the Upledger Institute where she is also a teacher’s assistant. Michele is also trained in Biodynamic Theory Craniosacral Therapy. She has extensive experience with the somato-emotional aspect of this work.

Michele is a Reiki Master and teacher, trained in the Usui Reiki Ryoho Tradition. She is trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage Technique, Myofascial Therapy, Ashiatsu Bar Therapy, Tien Di Bamboo Massage with cupping, Hot Stone Massage, and Raindrop Technique. She trained in Integrative Reflexology under Claire Marie Miller. She also supports your health at work, and offers ergonomic instruction for offices. Michele has practiced yoga since 1995. In 2010, she became a yoga instructor completing a 300 hour teacher training program at the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC. https://www.youryoga.com/

Michele went on to pursue her degree in psychology from SUNY Geneseo to enhance her skills with the sometimes emotional nature of CranioSacral work. Her goal is to conjoin CranioSacral Therapy with Talk Therapy. Her work is much more than just another massage.

“I have been seeing Michele for craniosacrial therapy. She helped me with shoulder and neck problems after just one session. I couldn’t get relief—to this degree— from other specialists. She is always positive and is extremely talented. I always know she will help me. Thanks Michele!”

Three questions to get to know your therapist:

  • I am happiest when dancing. I've had a love for it since I was a little girl practicing ballet or dancing in my living room with my mom and sister.

  • Getting out into the natural world. I love being in nature. I love the sights and sounds of the woods and the water. Watching Ospreys dive for their fish in the Everglades, FL. Watching Buffalo graze in the Badlands plains of South Dakota. Hugging a Bristlecone Pine—the oldest trees on Earth—or a Red wood in California. Any tree, really. I am a literal tree hugger.

  • My love for music is expansive and ranges from The Cure and NIN to Erykah Badu, Prince and Radiohead. I love music.
